JDT gets its own private jet, courtesy of Johor Sultan

JOHOR BARU: Last year, the Johor Darul Ta’zim (JDT) football club received RM50 million for its sterling performance in the AFC Cup.

This year, the club received yet another gift from the Sultan of Johor, Sultan Ibrahim Sultan Iskandar, in the form of a private jet.

The club, via its official Facebook page today, announced the receipt of the Gulfstream 550 aircraft, which will be used by the club’s players and officials for its outstation trips and matches.

The club said the aircraft will be ready for delivery in mid-2017.

"With this presentation, JDT creates history yet again by being the first club in the country to have its own aircraft," said the club.
