IShowSpeed returns to Malaysia, meets Regent of Johor [WATCH]

KUALA LUMPUR: Popular American YouTuber Darren Watkins Jr., widely known as IShowSpeed, made a return to Malaysia, this time to meet with Johor Darul Ta'zim (JDT) owner, Tunku Ismail Sultan Ibrahim, the Regent of Johor.

Watkins, 19, who previously delighted fans with a surprise trip to Malaysia, gained viral fame after trying local cuisine, including a spontaneous visit to a humble burger stall in Kuala Lumpur.



The clip of his stop quickly garnered over a million views on TikTok.

After a brief visit to Indonesia as part of his Southeast Asian tour, Watkins returned to Malaysia to catch JDT's dominant 6-1 victory over Kelantan Darul Naim in a Super League match at the Sultan Ibrahim Stadium on Sunday.

The YouTuber also spent time with Tunku Mahkota Ismail, the Crown Prince of Johor.

Tunku Ismail confirmed the visit through a post on his official X (formerly Twitter) account.

"Popular online streamer IShowSpeed visited the Sultan Ibrahim Stadium during Johor Darul Ta'zim FC's 6-1 win over Kelantan Darul Naim today.

"The American YouTuber, who has over 50 million followers across social media, also met with JDT owner, Tunku Ismail, the Regent of Johor. Allah Peliharakan Sultan."
