KUALA LUMPUR: DRB-Hicom Bhd has denied reports that it plans to sell its entire stake in Proton Holdings Bhd.
Group chief executive officer Datuk Seri Syed Faisal Albar Syed Ali Rethza told Business Times that the report is "not true at all".
He was commenting on an English weekly that DRB Hicom has plans to sell its entire stake in Proton.
The news report said DRB-Hicom Bhd is expecting as many as seven bids for Proton by the middle of this month and it may even sell as much as 100 per cent of Proton to foreign buyers.
