KOTA BARU: Kelantan Menteri Besar Datuk Ahmad Yakob heads a list of recipients of the state awards and medals in conjunction with the Sultan of Kelantan, Sultan Muhammad V’s 47th birthday today.
In the investiture ceremony held at Istana Balai Besar here, Ahmad was conferred the state award from Sultan Muhammad V which carries the title “Datuk Bentara Kanan.”
Forty-seven individuals receive various other awards which carry the title “Datuk” including Tunku Temenggong of Kedah Tan Sri Tunku Sallehuddin Ibni Almarhum Sultan Badlishah, who is the sole recipient of the Ahli Yang Pertama (Seri Paduka) Bagi Darjah Kebesaran Mahkota Kelantan Yang Amat Mulia (SPMK).
Kelantan Royal Council member Datuk Tengku Faridah Sultan Ibrahim and PNB Development Sdn Bhd chairman Tan Sri Hamad Kama Piah Che Othman are recipients of the Ahli Yang Pertama (Seri Paduka) Bagi Darjah Kebesaran Jiwa Mahkota Kelantan Yang Amat Mulia (SJMK).
Bank Negara Governor Datuk Muhammad Ibrahim is the sole recipient of the Ahli Yang Kehormat Yang Pertama (Seri Paduka) Bagi Darjah Kebesaran Jiwa Mahkota Kelantan Yang Amat Mulia (SJMK).
The sultan also awarded the Ahli Yang Pertama (Seri Paduka) Bagi Darjah Kebesaran Setia Mahkota Kelantan Yang Amat Terbilang (SPSK), which also carries the title Datuk to three recipients.
They are Appeals Court judges Datuk Tengku Maimun Tuan Mat and Datuk Rohana Yusof, and Communications and Multimedia Ministry secretary-general Datuk Seri Dr Sharifah Zarah Syed Ahmad.
Universiti Teknologi Mara vice-chancellor Prof Emeritus Datuk Dr Hassan Said is the sole recipient of the Ahli Yang Kedua (Datuk Paduka) Bagi Darjah Kebesaran Mahkota Kelantan Yang Amat Mulia (DPMK).
Kota Bharu High Court judicial commissioner Ahmad Bache and Malaysian Administrative Modernisation and Management Planning Unit (Mampu) director-general Datuk Seri Zainal Rahim Seman would be conferred the Ahli Yang Kehormat Yang Kedua (Datuk Paduka) Bagi Darjah Kebesaran Mahkota Kelantan Yang Amat Mulia (DPMK).
Six people are conferred the Ahli Yang Kedua (Datuk Paduka) Bagi Darjah Kebesaran Jiwa Mahkota Kelantan Yang Amat Mulia (DJMK).
They are state Public Wellbeing, Health, Environment and Non-Governmental Organisations Committee chairman Dr Ramli Mamat, Pertubuhan Kerabat D’Raja Kelantan treasurer Al-Muhammadi Tengku Ibrahim Farihaddin Tengku Feissal, Mayazia Sdn Bhd managing director Datuk Khairul Othman, Pondok Sungai Durian lecturer Dr Abdul Basit Abd Rahman, Pondok Terusan Limbat headmaster Wan Mohamed Wan Osman and businessman Wan Adzlan Wan Othman.
Another six are conferred the Ahli Yang Kehormat Yang Kedua (Datuk Paduka) Bagi Darjah Kebesaran Jiwa Mahkota Kelantan Yang Amat Mulia (DJMK), namely Tabung Haji chairman Datuk Seri Abdul Azeez Abdul Rahim, political secretary to the Federal Territories Minister Mohd Rafi Alli Hassan, Taner Industrial Sdn Bhd managing director Tan Kian Soon, KPJ Healthcare Berhad vice-president 1 Abdol Wahab Baba, Balqis Clinic specialist doctor Dr Balkhis Abdul Aziz and Desatera Sdn Bhd chief executive officer Feizal Nor Nurbi.
Armed Forces Religious Corps deputy director-general Brig Gen Wan Nawawi Daud is conferred the Ahli Yang Kedua (Datuk Paduka) Bagi Darjah Kebesaran Kesateria Mahkota Kelantan Yang Amat Perkasa (DPKK) while Sungai Besi Camp Rocket Artillery Brigade Headquarters commander Brig Gen Ahmad Ab Rahman is conferred the Ahli Yang Kehormat Yang Kedua (Datuk Paduka) Bagi Darjah Kebesaran Kesateria Mahkota Kelantan Yang Amat Perkasa (DPKK).
The sultan also conferred Ahli Yang Kedua (Datuk Paduka) Bagi Darjah Kebesaran Setia Mahkota Kelantan Yang Amat Terbilang (DPSK) to 14 recipients.
They are National Disaster Management Agency director-general Datuk Zaitun Ab Samad, Public Service Department Management Services Division director Datuk Wan Ahmad Dahlan Abd Aziz, Malaysian Ambassador to Romania Datuk Tajul Aman Mohammad, Cooperatives Commission of Malaysia executive chairman Dr Noor Zari Hamat, Agriculture and Agro-based Industry Ministry deputy secretary-general Mohd Sallehhuddin Hassan, Works Department Integrated Asset Planning Branch senior director Mohd Daud Harun, Universiti Malaysia Kelantan deputy vice-chancellor (Student Affairs and Alumni) Prof Abdul Aziz Ab Latif.
Also in the list are Perbadanan Kemajuan Iktisad Negeri Kelantan group chief executive officer Dr Wan Zawawi Ismail, Deputy Accountant-General Mohamad Azmi Ali, Universiti Sains Malaysia School of Health Sciences Dean Prof Ahmad Zakaria, Deputy Public Prosecutor Mohd Dusuki Mokhtar, Raja Perempuan Zainab II Hospital Breast & Endocrine consultant surgeon Dr Imi Sairi Ab Hadi, Universiti Kebangsaan Malaysia Medical Centre consultant urologist Prof Dr Zulkifli Zainuddin and Kota Bharu-Islamic City Municipal Council president Zamri Ismail.
Sultan Muhammad V also awarded the Ahli Yang Kehormat Yang Kedua (Datuk Paduka) Bagi Darjah Kebesaran Setia Mahkota Kelantan Yang Amat Terbilang (DPSK) to the principal private secretary to Chief Secretary to the Government Datuk Norazman Ayob and state Forestry Department director Zahari Ibrahim.
Three recipients are conferred the Ahli Yang Kedua (Datuk Paduka) Bagi Darjah Kebesaran Jasa Mahkota Kelantan Yang Amat Setia (DPJK). They are director-general of Prisons Datuk Seri Zulkifli Omar, Kelantan police chief Datuk Dr Abdul Rahman Ismail, and Bukit Aman Crime Prevention and Community Safety Department principal assistant director SAC Coursesenu Ibrahim.
Four others are conferred the Ahli Yang Kehormat Yang Kedua (Datuk Paduka) Bagi Darjah Kebesaran Jasa Mahkota Kelantan Yang Amat Setia (DPJK).
They are Malaysian Maritime Enforcement Agency director-general Admiral (Maritime) Datuk Seri Ahmad Puzi Ab Kahar, PDRM Integrity and Standard Compliance Department director Datuk Jalaluddin Abdul Rahman, PDRM CID Intelligence/Operations/Records Division D4 principal assistant director SAC Khairuldin Saad and PDRM Crime Prevention and Community Safety Department (Land Operations) principal assistant director SAC Zainuddin Yaacob.
Three people received the Ahli Yang Ketiga (Taulan) Bagi Darjah Kebesaran Jiwa Mahkota Kelantan Yang Amat Mulia (JMK), Ahli Yang Ketiga (Paduka) Bagi Darjah Kebesaran Kesateria Mahkota Kelantan Yang Amat Perkasa (PKK) (two), Ahli Yang Ketiga (Paduka) Bagi Darjah Kebesaran Setia Mahkota Kelantan Yang Amat Terbilang (PSK) (45) and Ahli Yang Ketiga (Paduka) Bagi Darjah Kebesaran Jasa Mahkota Kelantan Yang Amat Setia (PJK) (five).
Fifty-eight individuals received the Ahli Yang Keempat (Bentara) Bagi Darjah Kebesaran Jasa Mahkota Kelantan Yang Amat Setia (BJK), Ahli Yang Kelima (Ahli) Bagi Darjah Kebesaran Setia Mahkota Kelantan Yang Amat Terbilang (ASK) (49) and Ahli Yang Kelima (Ahli) Bagi Darjah Kebesaran Jasa Mahkota Kelantan Yang Amat Setia (AJK) (eight).
Thirty-two people are bestowed the Bintang Seri Mahkota Kelantan (SMK), Bintang Seri Kelantan (SK) (43) and Bintang Ahli Kelantan (AK) (88) while 49 others are conferred the Pingat Bakti (PB), Pingat Setia Mahkota Kelantan (PS) (64), Pingat Ta’at (PT) (72) and Pingat Perangai Baik (PB) (23).
One recipient receives the Surat Kepujian and nine will receive the Jaksa Pendamai (JP). --Bernama
