SINGAPORE is dubbed Southeast Asia’s most developed modern city despite its humble size. From hawker street food to fine dining, skyscrapers to vintage architecture, local bargains to high-end brands, Singapore suits all business and leisure needs.
Its efficient public transportation makes the island nation an easy destination to explore. Though at some points, Singapore can be somewhat sterile — littering and jaywalking are prohibited, chewing gum is banned — its strict law enforcement gives a sense of security especially for first-time visitors.
For photo enthusiasts, Singapore’s skyline is perfect for nightscape shots. With bright lights and the still waters of Singapore Straits, landmarks such as the Merlion, Marina Bay Sands, Singapore Flyer and Singapore Gardens By The Bay make some of the best subjects to capture the island’s landscapes.
