KUALA LUMPUR: A former employee of Pengurusan Air Pahang Berhad (PAIP) will be charged at the Kuantan Sessions Court in at 9am tomorrow.
The Malaysian Anti-Corruption Commission (MACC) in a brief statement said the water management company's former procurement manager, Sani Khan Ali Khan will be facing 22 counts under the MACC Act 2009.
It is learnt that the charges are over abuse of power and graft, dating back from 2017 involving a RM23 million Pahang state water project.
Details of the charges have yet to be announced pending the hearing of the case.
Last year the commission charged a number of PAIP officers for their alleged involvement in similar corruption and abuse of power cases but these are still pending in court.
