SHAH ALAM: The internal strife surrounding the household of former Inspector-General of Police (IGP) Tan Sri Musa Hassan took another twist when his wife filed for divorce at the Syariah Lower Court here today.

Elly was present with her Syarie lawyer, Datuk Hazizah Kassim and Noorulhuda Daud who filed for divorce under Section 47 of the Islamic Family Law Enactment (Selangor) 2003.
"Tan Sri left the house six months ago. After this divorce claim, I will file a claim for custody and alimony for my child who is eight-years-old," she said when met outside the Syariah Lower Court here today.
The Syariah Lower Court has set May 11 for remention of the case.
For the record, the couple married on Aug 2, 2013 and have a son together.
