PETALING JAYA: Police escorted Zayn Rayyan Abdul Matiin's parents from the Petaling Jaya Sessions Court to their own vehicle at 12.48pm after family members paid their bail of RM10,000 each.
Earlier, Zaim Ikhwan Zahari and Ismanira Abdul Manaf, both 29, claimed trial to the charge, under Section 31(1)(a) of the Child Act 2001, of neglecting the child in a manner likely to cause physical injury to him, last December.
Judge Dr Syahliza Warnoh set July 26 for case mention.
Zayn Rayyan was found dead by a stream near his home in Idaman Apartment, Damansara Damai, on Dec 6, the day after he was reported missing.
