KUALA LUMPUR: Seputeh member of parliament Teresa Kok has arrived at Bukit Aman ahead of her statement recording session today.
She was seen arriving at the Bukit Aman main gate with her lawyer Syahredzan Johan.
They entered the compound at around 9.45am.
It was reported that a total of 28 police reports were lodged against Kok over her statements on the halal certification issue.
Inspector-General of Police Tan Sri Razarudin Husain was quoted saying they have received 28 reports as of 2pm on Monday.
It was reported that police have opened an investigation paper against Kok over her statements.
The investigation against the Seputeh member of parliament had been initiated following five reports that were lodged against her.
Kok, who is DAP vice-chairman, had issued a statement on the proposal by Malaysia Islamic Development Department (Jakim) to have all food establishments that do not serve pork or alcohol to obtain halal certification.
