KOTA BHARU: Police have raided a house where GISB Holdings' (GISBH) chief executive officer stayed in Kelantan.
The house near Kampung Panji was among three raided by the police, Welfare Department and Kelantan Islamic Religious Affairs Department this morning.
It is understood that 30 people, including 20 children, live in the three homes.
They include the second wife of GISBH's CEO who was at home during the raid.
At the time of writing, the raid was ongoing and the police could be seen confiscating books related to the teachings and doctrines of GISBH.
It is learned that the homes were used by different GISBH members over the decades.
Yesterday, Inspector-General of Police Tan Sri Razarudin Husain said the CEO of GISBH and his wife were among 19 people arrested in a raid on a complex in Bukit Bintang.
GISB is now the focus of a police investigation after raids were conducted on 20 welfare homes allegedly linked to the group last week. The raids saw 402 people, some as young as 1-year-old, rescued.
Police said the victims had endured various forms of exploitation and abuse, including being sodomised.
GISB has since denied the allegations of child exploitation and sexual abuse.
Three people linked to GISBH have been charged with sexual assault against children. They have pleaded not guilty.
