KUALA LUMPUR: The Shah Alam magistrate court near here rejected the bail applications of 22 individuals believed to be members of Global Ikhwan Services and Business Holdings Sdn Bhd (GISBH) on Wednesday.
The media reported that the applications were made by the individuals, all of whom are local women.
Magistrate Muhammad Syafiq Sulaiman denied the bail requests under the Criminal Procedure Code.
All the individuals were then taken to the central lockup at the Shah Alam district police headquarters.
Earlier, the suspects arrived at the court about 10am.
They were seen arriving under the escort of armed police officers.
