KLANG: Police are looking for a man who allegedly abused his three children, including forcing his daughter to perform oral sex on him.
North Klang police chief Assistant Commissioner S. Vijaya Rao said preliminary investigations indicate the suspect beat the children, aged nine to 14, with a belt when they refused to eat rotten food he fed them.
He also beat the children, two boys and a girl, when they failed to do household chores.
"We are now working on tracking down the suspect involved," he said in a statement, adding a report on the matter was lodged early this morning by an NGO member.
The complainant reportedly rescued the children from their home before lodging a report.
Vijaya said the children have been sent to hospital for treatment and will be handed over to the Welfare Department.
The case is being probed under Section 31(1)(a) of the Child Act for neglect of a child leading to injury and 14(a) of the Sexual Offences Against Children Act for touching a child for sexual purposes.
Vijaya Rao said police would call in the children's mother to record her statement.
He urged anyone with information on the case to contact the Selangor police hotline at 03-2052 9999 or go to their nearest police station.
