Bentong cops looking for Sikh woman, 2nd person reported missing this week

BENTONG: A 38-year-old woman has been reported missing after failing to return to her house in Taman Saga yesterday, the second such incident reported at the housing settlement this week.

District police chief Superintendent Zaiham Mohd Kahar said the police received a missing persons report yesterday on the disappearance of Nardeep Kaur.

"Nardeep's aunt had lodged a report about 11.20am yesterday after she could not locate her niece. She was last seen in Taman Saga here.

"She is about 153cm tall, weighs around 75kg and has a medium build. She was last seen wearing a T-shirt and long pants," he said in a statement.

Zaiham urged anyone who has seen, recognised or has information on her to contact the Bentong police headquarters at 09-2231999 or any nearest police station.

The latest incident is the second reported in Taman Saga here this week after Khairul Amir Ismail, 24, went missing on Oct 11 before a police report was lodged on Oct 21.
