Najib arrives at KL High Court [WATCH]

KUALA LUMPUR: Former prime minister Datuk Seri Najib Razak arrived at the court complex here today, where he will learn if he is to be called to enter a defence or acquitted of all criminal charges related to 1Malaysia Development Bhd (1MDB).

Police have closed the main entrance to the court complex, barring vehicles from entering.

Scores of Najib's supporters are gathered at the gate.

Two of Najib's children, Nooryana Najwa and Datuk Mohamad Nizar, were seen arriving separately to support their father.

It was reported that the former Umno president will learn whether he will be let off scot-free or required to answer all criminal charges related to the 1MDB financial debacle.

Presiding judge Datuk Collin Lawrence Sequearah is expected to give his verdict at the end of the prosecution's case at 9am.
