SHAH ALAM: Preliminary investigations suggest that a dispute over commission payments and a rivalry over workers led to the murder of a foreign man, whose body was found in the boot of a car in Telok Panglima Garang, Kuala Langat, last Tuesday.
Kuala Langat district police chief Superintendent Mohd Akmalrizal Radzi said the two foreign suspects, aged 17 and 22, who had been detained earlier, are believed to have conspired to kill the victim.
"Based on our investigation, the motive for the murder is believed to have stemmed from a dispute over farm workers and dissatisfaction with commission payments.
"The two suspects in custody are believed to have conspired in the murder, and the investigation is still ongoing," he said in a statement today.
Last Tuesday, police arrested two foreign farm workers at 5.08am during a routine patrol.
Mohd Akmalrizal said the body of a man, suspected to be a foreigner in his 30s, was found during an inspection of the boot of the car.
Further investigation revealed that the body had multiple injuries.
The case is being investigated under Section 302 of the Penal Code.
