Cops launch search for 'Hot Daddy' and female accomplices

KUALA LUMPUR: Police are on the hunt for Hasli Ikhwan Arif Zul Hasli, or "Hot Daddy" and his two female accomplices after failing to serve them arrest warrants.

City police chief Datuk Rusdi Mohd Isa said efforts were underway to locate the individuals, including monitoring their movements abroad.

"Steps have been taken to detect their whereabouts, including confirming if they have travelled out of the country," he said.

Yesterday, the media reported that the Sessions Court discharged "Hot Daddy" and his two female accomplices from charges of advertising prostitution services, selling obscene video recordings, and possessing pornographic material.

Judge Siti Shakirah Mohtarudin decided after the prosecution informed the court that the arrest warrants issued in previous proceedings could not be served on the accused.

Apart from Hasli, the court also discharged Norshazrina Md Zamri and Norhidayah Mahadi.

Hasli, 32, Norshazrina, 27, and Norhidayah, 24, were accused of advertising prostitution services via the X application, which could reasonably be interpreted as offering such services.

The offence was allegedly committed at the police Criminal Investigation Department's Anti-Vice, Gaming and Secret Society Division (D7) in Bukit Aman at 10.10am on Jan 16.

They were charged under Section 372(1)(e) of the Penal Code for prostitution which carries a maximum penalty of 15 years imprisonment, whipping, and a fine upon conviction.

They were also charged with selling obscene video recordings at the Wangsa Maju district police headquarters CID D7 office at 11.54pm on Jan 15, under Section 292(a) of the Penal Code for possessing, selling, exhibiting or owning any obscene materials either in a physical form and or digital form.

The offence carries a maximum penalty of three years' imprisonment, a fine, or both upon conviction.

Additionally, Hasli and Norhidayah face charges of possessing pornographic material at the Bukit Aman D7 office at 4pm on Jan 22.
