KUALA LUMPUR: A group of zookeepers, affectionately known as the "daddy keepers", came together to prepare for two pandas' 18th birthday celebration at the zoo.
In a viral video posted by @WojiaoAZ on TikTok, the daddy keepers were seen enthusiastically decorating the panda enclosure and preparing special treats for Zoo Negara's famous pandas, Fu Wa and Feng Yi.
Each zookeeper played an equal role in organising a fun birthday party for the beloved animals.
They adorned the enclosure with duck statues, scattered rose petals, and jackfruits, and added a panda statue sitting atop a duck, complete with angpao. Meanwhile, one of the daddy keepers was busy preparing a honey drink as a birthday treat for the pandas.
The decoration concluded with the panda sniffing around the beautifully adorned space, accompanied by the birthday message: "Happy Birthday Fu Wa and Feng Yi, 18".
