SERDANG: Two foreigners have been detained to assist in investigations into the discovery of a woman's body at a budget hotel in Taman Mawar, Puchong, today.
District police chief Assistant Commissioner A.A. Anbalagan said a call regarding the incident was received at 10.15pm.
"According to the report, a foreign woman in her 30s was found unconscious and covered in blood, believed to have been murdered.
"The victim's body has been sent to Serdang Hospital for a post-mortem," he said in a statement.
Acting on information, Anbalagan added that two foreign men, aged 39, were arrested in the Bukit Puchong area at 3am.
Both suspects have been remanded for six days starting today until Jan 6 for further investigation.
Anbalagan also said that the case was being investigated under Section 302 of the Penal Code for murder.
