KUALA LUMPUR: A travelogue comic book entitled “Aku Datang” (I am Coming), that highlights attractive destinations in the country via illustrations to promote the country’s tourism industry is now available for local and foreign tourists alike.
The book featured illustrations from artistes who had been exploring the states in Malaysia and it also provided interesting tips related to tourism, culture and traditional food in the country.
The book, priced at RM20 each and available in Malay and English, was launched by Deputy Minister of Tourism and Culture Datuk Mas Ermieyati Samsudin at the Kuala Lumpur International Book Fair 2017 (KLIBF), here, today.
Mas Ermieyati, in her speech at the ceremony, said the book was first of its kind and seen as an agent to represent the country“s tourism industry.
“Aku Datang” is available at all MPH outlets and Galaxy Bookstore. KLIBF is currently held at the Putra World Trade Centre until May 7. --BERNAMA
