KUALA LUMPUR: Several areas in the Klang Valley are currently facing a power outage after a few Tenaga Nasional Bhd (TNB) substations broke down.
As of midnight last night, it was reported that two substations in Kajang located at Jalan Jelok 6 and a substation in Saujana Impian, Bangi, broke down.
This morning, another two substation in Lagenda Emas, Cheras, faced the same problem.
Meanwhile, a substation in Kayangan Emas in Shah Alam has already been fixed after it was reported facing a breakdown.
When contacted, the TNB’s call centre acknowledged that they had received many reports from residents at the areas.
TNB spokesman said the problems were still being identified and would be addressed soon.
“We are still looking into the matter and it will be addressed as soon as possible,” she said, adding that the cause of the outages was being investigated.
