Police deny issuing advisory on IS terrorists injecting HIV

KUALA LUMPUR: Deputy Inspector-Police Tan Sri Noor Rashid Ibrahim today denied Bukit Aman Police Headquarters has issued an alert on a purported attempt by IS terrorists to spread HIV through random injections to members of the public.

The message alert, which went viral on chat networks, had claimed that the terrorists were posing as medical college representatives carrying out free blood sugar screening.

“Bukit Aman had never issued such an alert. I hope the people will not be taken for a ride,” Noor Rashid said when contacted. — BERNAMA
