KUALA LUMPUR: Datuk Seri Anwar Ibrahim has kept mum on any political comeback plans, and says all he wants right now is to spend time with his family.
Anwar, who was granted a royal pardon from the Yang di-Pertuan Agong, said he also plans to entertain local and foreign invitations soon to speak about his struggle over the past 20 years.
“I hope I will be given some space to spend time with my family although at the same time, I need to give support to my wife (Datuk Seri Dr Wan Azizah Wan Ismail), who is now the Deputy Prime Minister.
“I want to enjoy the food I have not been able to eat for a while,” he said at a special press conference at his residence in Segambut.
He quipped that he had lost a lot of weight since serving time in jail, and wished to gain some back.
