KUALA LUMPUR: Judging by the list of VIPs in attendance, you would think it’s the Malaysian version of the Oscar or Grammy awards at the Bukit Jalil National Stadium as Malaysia meet Vietnam in the first leg of the AFF Cup final today.
A full house of over 80,000 fans, including Prime Minister, Tun Dr Mahathir Mohamad and his wife, Tun Dr Siti Hasmah Mohd Ali, graced the National Stadium to roar on the Harimau Malaya.
The VIPs, celebrities and family members and friends of the footballers, as well as fans, were all there for this historic occasion.
The fans were star-struck by the presences of celebrities such as actress Nabila Huda Suhaimi, comedian Lan Pet Pet, Ayu Raudhah and sister Rozita Che Wan, to name a few.
Apart from the stars, making a
Marvel-lous occasion was the appearance of “Spiderman”.
Wan Zaidi Wan Musa, 30, was seen walking around the stadium, dressed as the neighbourhood friendly Spiderman, as he entertained photo requests from both Malaysian and Vietnamese fans.
