Bad weather in Bukit Jalil ahead of FA Cup final

KUALA LUMPUR: Heavy rain and thunderstorms are expected over Bukit Jalil ahead of tonight's FA Cup final match between Selangor and Johor Darul Ta'zim (JDT).

However, according to a Malaysian Meteorological Department post on X, the bad weather should clear up before kickoff at 9pm.

Tens of thousands are expected to throng the 80,000-capacity National Stadium in Bukit Jalil to see the Red Giants take on the Southern Tigers for the coveted FA Cup.

Selangor are hoping to win their first FA Cup since 2009 while defending champions JDT will be looking to make it three triumphs in a row after winning the trophy in 2022 and 2023.
