PUTRAJAYA: Former Information Minister Tan Sri Zainuddin Maidin died at the Serdang Hospital in Selangor, earlier today. He was 79.
Zainuddin was reportedly receiving treatment for pneumonia at the hospital since Nov 12.
The former Merbok MP also served as the editor-in-chief of Utusan Melayu and was a prolific author.
