SHAH ALAM: A woman driver has her car stuck in a stretch of mud at a palm oil estate in Bandar Saujana Putra yesterday morning after she followed the instructions of the navigation application, Waze.
Selangor Fire and Rescue Department deputy operation director Norizham Mohd Nudin said the victim is a midwife and she was on her way to her customer’s house when the incident occurred at 8am.
“The woman was from Ulu Yam and she used the navigation app to go to her customer’s house before she got lost at the palm oil estate.
“After getting into a muddy path, her car got stuck and she decided to call the fire and rescue department,” he said when contacted.
He said his department received a call at 8.36am and a team of six personnel from Teluk Panglima Garang Fire and Rescue Station were dispatched to the scene.
“She was brought out from the estate safe and sound,” he said.
