Where is Che Minah Sayang?

KUALA LUMPUR: "Che Minah Sayang" appears to have gone missing on Twitter.

Using the handle @cheminahsayang, it belongs to Raja Permaisuri Agong, Tunku Azizah Aminah Maimunah Iskandariah.

While she announced a short departure from the micro-blogging site last year, Tunku Azizah made a comeback following calls by many.

She previously deleted her account on Sept 11, believed to be due to negative online comments. However an online movement under the hashtage #AmpunTuanku kicked off, aimed at convincing her to return.

Not too long after that, Netizens welcomed her back as her account became active again.

Today however, clicking on the handle @cheminahsayang returns an empty account with the message "This account doesn't exist".

It is unclear at this point if the account has been deactivated or it was hacked.

A Twitter user posted a screenshot of the blank account, voicing confusion as to what happened.

Another user replied saying maybe it was hacked.

Prior to the account having gone missing, the Queen was actively tweeting and sharing her concerns about preserving the jawi script. She also begun tweeting in the jawi script, much to the delight of many of her followers.

Her name was also spelt out in the jawi script in the profile section.

While her tweets can no longer be accesed, based on the interaction from Netizens, it appears that an account @naavin8 had posted rude remarks, tagging the Queen.

The post was made on Jan 6. The account is still active, with the last post made five hours ago, posting rude remarks against Prime Minister Tun Dr Mahathir Mohamad.
