PUTRAJAYA: The Health Ministry has confirmed one more case of the novel coronavirus (2019-nCoV) in Malaysia, bringing the total of positive cases to eight.
The latest case involves a 49-year-old Chinese tourist.
The patient had been admitted to the isolation ward in Hospital Permai in Johor and was reported to be stable.
She is the wife of the seventh 2019-nCoV case reported in Johor on Jan 29.
Health director-general Datuk Dr Noor Hisham Abdullah, in a statement today, said the cumulative number of people who had been under observation currently stood at 89.
