KUALA LUMPUR: Health authorities will be issuing Covid-19 vaccination badges to those who have been fully inoculated against the virus.
Prime Minister Tan Sri Muhyiddin Yassin is expected to be the first issued with the badge after getting his second vaccine dose today.
Health Minister Datuk Seri Dr Adham Baba announced this during a press conference in Putrajaya here today.
"The badge, which has the bearer's personal details such as their name and MyKad, certifies that he or she is vaccinated.
"It has a security code, so it can't be duplicated and would be distributed by the millions for future use."
The badge he said was in addition to the certification that would be made available in the MySejahtera mobile application.
