Haflin courts controversy again with insta story

KUALA LUMPUR: Datin Seri Haflin Nazri Aziz has once again courted controversy.

This time around she posted an insta story with expletives believed to be directed at Datuk Seri Dr Ahmad Zahid Hamidi's wife.

The tirade was centred around an incident that allegedly took place at the Umno president's home where she claimed she and husband Datuk Seri Nazri Aziz were snubbed after purportedly being called for a meeting by Zahid.

The insta story, unedited except for the expletives, read: "How would you guys feel if you were invited by your husband's President Party house but they made u wait almost two hours and they didn't turn up at all!

"I could still remember the snobbish wife was asking from outside the house who's the visitor and who's Chanel sandle was that?

"The bodyguard replied: Oh that's DS Haflin's, chief's wife. And the snobbish wife decided not to enter and greet us.

"Let me tell you Karma's a B!#*#, YOU KAMPUNG B!#*#.

"Tak Hadap pun! Laki kau yang jemput! bodoh! (I wasn't asking for it. Your husband invited us. Stupid!)"

In a subsequent post, she also made an attempt to prove she was in touch with her roots.

"I realised where I came from and the struggles, sacrifice my late mother hard and sweat to build @villadanialla from scratch since I was 15 years old and I'm proud to say that my family doesn't use any religious funds to buy hotels."

In January, Haflin made headlines when she posted a 20-second clip of her and children running to the beach during quarantine. The picture was captioned "best quarantine ever".

Nazri at the time had tested positive for Covid-19 and was being treated at Raja Perempuan Zainab II Hospital (HRPZII).

She, however, said later that she was being quarantined on Villa Danialla Beach Resort in Bachok, Kelantan, which is a private beach owned by her.

The post has since been taken down.
