KUALA LUMPUR: Shops selling books, stationery, computers and telecommunications businesses will be allowed to open from tomorrow.
Deputy Prime Minister Datuk Seri Ismail Sabri Yaakob said the decision by National Security Council (NSC) was made after taking into account students, parents and teachers who are involved in online learning during Covid-19 pandemic.
"Movement of students from or to Enhanced Movement Control Order (EMCO) zones is allowed with police permission for examination, including professional exams," he said in a statement today.
Meanwhile, the Enhanced Movement Control Order at several localities in Kuala Lumpur will end tomorrow.
The localities are Sri Semarak people's housing project (PPR), Batu Muda PPR, Kampung Padang Balang, Taman Koperasi Polis (Fasa2), Sri Sabah flat, Kampung Baru Air Panas PPR, Kerinchi PPR, Bandar Baru Sentul and Taman Ikan Emas.
Ismail Sabri also said localities in Sabah and Pahang would also be end tomorrow.
They are Kampung Mangga, Nasip Kita, and Kampung Kijang, Balung in Tawau; Kampung Lingkodon in Kota Belud; Kampung Pintas Kubu, Beaufort; Kampung Muhibbah, Putatan; and Kampung Goshen, Kota Marudu.
For Pahang, the EMCO at Mukim Kuala Kuantan 1 in Pahang will end tomorrow, while Mukim Kuala Kuantan 2 will end on Saturday, he said.
