KUALA LUMPUR: Pengerang MP Datuk Seri Azalina Othman Said has been appointed special advisor to the Prime Minister on law and human rights.
It is learned that she received her appointment letter from Datuk Seri Ismail Sabri Yaakob on Thursday.
In a Facebook post this morning, Azalina who is former deputy Dewan Rakyat Speaker thanked the prime minister for the appointment.
She also shared a photograph of her receiving the letter from the prime minister.
Azalina previously resigned from her post as deputy Speaker on Aug 23.
