PM: Ministers achieve 90 pct score for 100-day KPI target

KUALA LUMPUR: Cabinet members under Prime Minister Datuk Seri Ismail Sabri Yaakob's leadership have achieved a 90 per cent key performance indicator (KPI) score for their first 100 days in office.

Ismail Sabri said the 100-day "Aspirasi Keluarga Malaysia" (Malaysian Family Aspiration) involved the KPI of 31 ministries with 140 targets, which are counted together with the Key Happiness Outcome (KHO), introduced by the government to monitor the project's implementation.

"Ministers are evaluated based on three elements – the performance of their respective ministries, their leadership and public perception of them.

"The 100-day Malaysian Family Aspiration is based on six cores, namely the restructuring of the economy; ensuring the nation's security and peace; improving social harmony; increasing overall infrastructure; strengthening unity and empowering service delivery," he said.

The prime minister was speaking at the 100-day Malaysian Family Aspiration launch at the Kuala Lumpur Convention Centre here today.

The "Keluarga Malaysia" concept was first introduced during Ismail Sabri's inaugural speech as the country's ninth prime minister on Aug 22, during which he had appealed to politicians to put aside their differences and work together to steer the country out of the current health and economic crises.
