KUALA PILAH: Army chief Gen Tan Sri Zamrose Mohd Zain leads the list of 410 recipients of awards and medals in conjunction with Yang di-Pertuan Besar of Negri Sembilan Tuanku Muhriz Tuanku Munawir's 74th birthday
Zamrose, 60, will be conferred the Darjah Seri Setia Negri Sembilan Yang Amat Cemerlang (SSNS) award which carries the title 'Datuk Seri'.
Matrix Concepts Holding Bhd's group deputy executive chairman Datuk Lee Tian Hock will also receive the same award.
Tuanku Muhriz will bestow the Darjah Datuk Paduka Negri Sembilan (DPNS) award which carries the title 'Datuk' to Negeri Sembilan State Legal Adviser Muzalmah Mustapha Kamal.
He will also confer the Darjah Setia Tuanku Muhriz Yang Amat Gemilang (DSTM) which carries the title 'Datuk' to two recipients, namely Comptroller of the Royal Household Capt (B) Azizi Mohamad Ali and Penghulu Luak Inas, Datuk Johan Pahlawan Lela Perkasa Walad Kuala Dioh Mohammad Ariff Sidek.
Senator Dr Ahmad Azam Hamzah, Serdang Hospital consultant cardiologist Dr Asri Ranga Abdullah Ramaiah, McDonald's Malaysia managing director & local operating partner Azmir Jaafar and local artiste Wan Aishah Wan Ariffin are among the 22 recipients of the Darjah Setia Bakti Negeri Sembilan (DBNS), which also carries the title 'Datuk'.
A total of 11 recipients of the Darjah Setia Negri Sembilan (DNS) include Datuk Raja Balang Balai Undang Luak Jelebu Amrus Alias and Negri Sembilan Hockey Association vice president M.Gobinathan.
Tuanku Muhriz will also bestow the Darjah Tuanku Muhriz (DTM) medal to two recipients, Darjah Pekerti Terpilih (DPT) to 31 recipients; Ahli Setia Negeri Sembilan (ANS) (43 recipients); Setiawan Tuanku Muhriz (STM) (one recipient), Pingat Khidmat Cemerlang Masyarakat (PMC) (98 recipients) and Pingat Jasa Kebaktian (PJK) (171 recipients).
Ten people will receive the Pingat Bentara Tuanku Muhriz (BTM) and 16 will get the Pingat Khidmat Lama (PKL).
The first session of the investiture ceremony will be held at the Balairung Seri, Istana Besar Seri Menanti, here today, while the second session will be held on Jan 22 and the third on Jan 27. – Bernama
