KUALA LUMPUR: An army tank broke down along Jalan Damansara, at a slip road near Carcosa to Kuala Lumpur Sentral today.
Kuala Lumpur City Hall's (DBKL) Control and Command Centre's Facebook page said the tank had stopped in the middle lane.
When contacted, an Integrated Transport Information System (ITIS) personnel said the tank was set to be deployed for the National Day parade rehearsal this morning.
Officers were dispatched to assess the situation, while the Malaysian Armed Forces were also informed of the stalled vehicle.
The road had since been cleared. Twitter users also reported a traffic snarl, snaking from Jalan Duta all the way to KL Sentral.
