IPOH: A helicopter with six people on board crashed into a jungle in Brinchang, Cameron Highlands.
However, the condition of the six people including the pilot is yet to be known.
The helicopter departed from Sultan Azlan Shah Airport here to Brinchang when it is believed to have crashed about 1.15pm.
A source said that the incident happened in Brinchang but he believes the area falls under Perak's jurisdiction.
"As of now we believe everyone on board is safe, but we don't know if they suffered any injuries," he said when contacted today.
The search and rescue operation is underway.
