IPOH: The meeting between Perak Election Commission director Mohd Nazri Ismail and the Sultan of Perak, Sultan Nazrin Muizzuddin Shah lasted for an hour.
Earlier, the vehicles carrying state secretary Datuk Ahmad Suaidi Abdul Rahim and a team of legal advisors arrived separately at Istana Kinta between 9.45am and 10.23am.
Their vehicles were seen leaving the palace at 11.23am.
The meeting was held to present to Sultan Nazrin the current result of the state's 15th General Election (GE15).
There is no clear winner in the Perak state poll as no party has obtained a simple majority from the seats contested in the GE15.
Perikatan Nasional (PN) and Pakatan Harapan (PH) did not have enough votes to form a state government, according to the official result.
PN has 26 seats, while PH has 24 and BN nine. A total of 30 seats are required for a simple majority to form the Perak state government.
