HULU SELANGOR: The search-and-rescue (SAR) operation at the site of the Batang Kali landslide focuses on two of the campsites' three sectors.
Fire and Rescue Department director (Operations and Rescue Division) Datuk Nor Hisham Mohammad said the sectors involved Sector A (Hilltop) and Sector B (Farmview).
"Right now, our SAR is focusing on Sectors A and B, as the two sectors were most affected by the landslide.
"We believed that the missing victims are still trapped in the two sectors," he said today.
A total of 94 victims were involved in the incident, and as at 1pm, 61 have been rescued, 16 found dead and 17 missing.
