KUALA LUMPUR: The Kajang to Kwasa Damansara Mass Rapid Transit (MRT) line is facing service disruption and delays this morning, believed to be due to technical issues.
The disruption of the MRT service heading towards KL Sentral happened as early as 7 am during rush hour as commuters were hurrying to get to work.
Checks at the Bandar Tun Hussein Onn MRT station found that there was congestion with long lines of commuters waiting to catch the MRT.
It is understood that a train was facing technical issues at the Bukit Dukung MRT station. The MRT operations team are in the process of addressing the problem.
Earlier, in an announcement at the MRT station, commuters were informed of the service delay and ensuing congestion issue as a result of the technical problem affecting the trains.
An apology was issued to commuters for the inconvenience caused.
