99 Speed Mart director lauds Rahmah sale move

KUALA LUMPUR: 99 Speed Mart director of branches operation Yong Eng Kwang lauded the 'Jualan Rahmah' initiative, which offers basic goods and products at cheaper prices.

The initiative — which included Bakul Rahmah, Pakej Rahmah, Kafe Rahmah, and Menu Rahmah — had benefited those in need, he said during the Hari Raya Rahmah launch today.

The sale will last for a month, ending April 22.

It will be implemented in all 99 Speed Mart outlets, numbering 2,300 nationwide.

As many as 150 basic goods will be sold up to 40 per cent off throughout the Hari Raya Rahmah sales.

99 Speed Mart also provided 100 units of Bakul Rahmah to be given to the underprivileged during the launch.

One recipient was Abdul Hadi bin Abdullah, 68, a mosque committee member.

"I am very grateful to receive a Bakul Rahmah today.

"Jualan Rahmah is definitely a good initiative and it has lifted my financial burden as the items can be bought at cheaper prices," he said.

The gift basket contains rice, cooking oil, sugar and flour, among others.
