KOTA BARU: Tengku Mahkota of Kelantan, Dr Tengku Muhammad Faiz Petra and his wife Che Puan Mahkota of Kelantan, Che Puan Sofie Louise Johansson Petra welcomed the birth of their first child on Monday.
The news was shared on the Kelantan Sultan Office Media Unit's Facebook page last night.
The post mentioned that the royal couple's baby boy was born at the Universiti Sains Malaysia Hospital (HUSM) in Kubang Kerian.
It also stated that both Che Puan Mahkota of Kelantan and the baby were in good health.
Tengku Muhammad Faiz also thanked HUSM staff and everyone who prayed for the well-being of his wife and their baby.
Tengku Mahkota Kelantan and his Swedish national wife tied the knot in 2019. She was bestowed the title of Che Puan Mahkota of Kelantan last year when the Sultan of Kelantan, Sultan Muhammad V proclaimed his wife, Che Puan Nur Diana Petra Abdullah as the Sultanah of Kelantan.
