KUALA LUMPUR: The government has proposed to disburse RM200 million next year to implement the programmes and initiatives planned under the New Industrial Master Plan 2030 (NIMP 2030).
Prime Minister Datuk Seri Anwar Ibrahim said this when he tabled the 2024 Budget in the Dewan Rakyat today.
"The NIMP 2030 will require a total investment of RM95 billion and that it is expected to create 3.3 million job opportunities with an intermediate salary of up to RM4,510 monthly by the year 2030.
"Of the total investment required to implement the NIMP 2030, up to 10 per cent will be allocated by the government," Anwar, who is also the Finance Minister, said.
