KUALA LUMPUR: Toh Puan Raghad Kurdi Taib shared an emotional post on Instagram, commemorating her final moments with her husband.
In the caption posted on her Instagram account today, Raghad described her last few hours together as the longest time she had ever experienced in her life.
Together with her caption was a picture believed to be Raghad holding the late Tun Taib's hand, capturing the essence of their bond.
"Indeed, Allah knows best. The last 14 years with you were all I have ever prayed for and so much more. You have been a bright light not only in my life but also in the lives of our large family and many Sarawakians.
"I have always admired your dedication and hard work in bringing Sarawak to where it is today," she wrote in the caption.
She also expressed her deep longing for her husband while finding comfort in the belief that Tun Taib's legacy will endure.
"Rest in peace, my dearest. Though I miss you terribly, I find solace in knowing that your legacy lives on in the hearts of everyone you touched. Until we meet again," she wrote.
