KUALA LUMPUR: Prime Minister Datuk Seri Anwar Ibrahim has once again reiterated that the Madani government will do its utmost to ensure that Kelantan progresses alongside other states.
Anwar, who was visiting Kota Baru yesterday, said this at the Madani 2024 state-level Aidilfitri celebration held at the Rural Transformation Centre (RTC) in Bandar Baru Tunjong. Also present was Menteri Besar Datuk Mohd Nassuruddin Daud.
He was echoing Nassuruddin's sentiments that continuing political bickering would not bring benefit to the people, including those in Kelantan. He added that the Kelantanese should also benefit from planned programmes, both in the short and long term.
In a posting on X, the prime minister also clarified that it was untrue that the Madani government has neglected the state.
He added that significant allocations were provided last year for flood mitigation projects, water supply, and the construction of new Tahfiz schools in the state.
