ALOR STAR: About 30 ride-on kid cars were destroyed in an early morning fire at a park next to Samila Hotel, Kampung Baru today.
Alor Star Fire and Rescue Station deputy chief Ahmad Naufal Abdullah said that fire engines were dispatched after distress calls were received at 3.50am.
"The fire involved ride-on kid cars, with about 30 units engulfed in flames," he said in a statement.
Fortunately, he said no one was harmed in the incident.
"The fire was controlled at 3.54am and the operation ended at 4.45am," he added.
