PUTRAJAYA: Malaysia's Foreign Ministry through its High Commissions in Dhaka and New Delhi, is closely monitoring the impact of Cyclone Remal, which made landfall between the coasts of Bangladesh and West Bengal, India on Sunday (May 26).
In a statement today (May 28), the Ministry said Malaysians in the affected areas are strongly urged to remain vigilant, follow the latest updates, and adhere to the instructions and guidance provided by the local authorities.

At least 10 people were killed in coastal districts in Bangladesh and another two killed in India, while millions of people were affected by the tropical cyclone.
