KUALA LUMPUR: His Majesty Sultan Ibrahim, King of Malaysia, and Her Majesty Raja Zarith Sofiah, Queen of Malaysia conveyed their warm Father's Day greetings in a post on Facebook today.
"To all the fathers who work tirelessly to provide for their families, I deeply respect your efforts and sacrifices.
"As a father myself, I also understand the responsibility and the important role a father plays in shaping the lives of children."
His Majesty also offered prayers for his late father, Sultan Iskandar, and his late father-in-law, Paduka Seri Sultan Idris Shah II.
The post was accompanied by a photograph of the royal couple holding hands.
