BUKIT MERTAJAM: Daily actions by the Malaysian Anti-Corruption Commission (MACC) indicate that graft continues to occur.
Today, Prime Minister Datuk Seri Anwar Ibrahim remarked that politicians and government agencies are still implicated in corruption.
"Officials from the Immigration Department, the Inland Revenue Board, police, Customs Department… they are still syphoning the country's wealth.
"This must stop.
"While we ask the people to make sacrifices, our leaders are behaving otherwise," he said during a community gathering at Masjid Jamek Cheruk Tok Kun.
