KUALA LUMPUR: Affin Invikta and Top 30 Media today launched Malaysia's Top 30 Women of Excellence Awards 2024, announcing that nominations were immediately open.
The event aims to honour the outstanding achievements of exceptional Malaysian women across various industries and will be held in September this year.
Nominations were open for women who have significant contributions to society and their respective industries, irrespective of their background.
Several categories have been selected for the awards such as Lifetime Achievement Award for Women, Outstanding Leadership Award, Champion of Empowerment Award, Visionary Arts and Cultures Award, Innovator and Entrepreneur Award, Humanitarian and Community Service Award and others which may be announced later.
A panel of six or seven judges who are experts and leaders of various industries will evaluate nominees based on their impact, leadership and success.
Affin Bank Bhd president and group chief executive officer Datuk Wan Razly Abdullah said the prestigious event allows them to showcase and amplify the extraordinary contributions of women across various sectors.
He said their goal was to propel women and startups by helping them build confidence in their abilities and their dreams into reality.

Meanwhile, Top 30 Media managing director and founder Alvin Sinclair said the event celebrates the innovation and leadership of women while highlighting their extraordinary contributions across Malaysia.
"Today, we gather all women who have not only excelled in their respective professions but also made a substantial contribution to their communities and society at large.
"The awards programme is more than just acknowledging success; it's about highlighting the stories of resilience, leadership, and innovation that often go unnoticed.
"It seeks to inspire the next generation of women leaders and demonstrate that with determination and passion, there are no limits to what can be achieved," he said.
He also said as nominations open, they welcome all women to take pride in their dedication, hard work, and vision are truly inspiring.
"Each of you has made a difference in your field, and your stories serve as powerful reminders of the potential within us all to create positive change. Together, we can build a future where excellence knows no gender, and every individual has the opportunity to thrive," he added.
Nominations for Affin Invikta x Malaysia's Top 30 Women of Excellence Awards 2024 can be submitted through www.top30womenawards.com. The deadline for submissions is Aug 2.
