PUTRAJAYA: Prime Minister Datuk Seri Anwar Ibrahim has instructed all ministers to conduct dialogue sessions with relevant stakeholders in their respective ministries ahead of the 2025 Budget planning.
Communications Minister Fahmi Fadzil said the matter was conveyed by the prime minister during the cabinet meeting earlier today.
"The prime minister aspires to obtain feedback from industries regarding policies, incentives, programme implementation and challenges," he told reporters during his weekly press conference today.
Fahmi said the 2025 Budget would be the third for Anwar, since he took office in 2022.
Asked about the budget tabling date, Fahmi said: "Parliament will commence on Oct 14, and the budget will be tabled on Oct 18. That is the date for now."
